Elementary Curriculum
Our Elementary Program again expands on the curriculum of the Primary Program. The Montessori system uses an integrated curriculum, rather than one broken down into discrete subjects. 80% of class time is spent on subjects other than reading and writing, so they get exposure to more subjects like the sciences, history, and foreign language than in public schools. Basic reading and writing is taught through research projects, reports, and other assignments.
